The McGregor Fund

Weʼre raising £25,000 to help Steve McGregor pay for rehabilitation and physiotherapy following a serious work accident.

On June 13th 2017, Steve was involved in a life changing accident at work.

Steel fell from a hoist above him, fracturing his skull, leaving him with severe brain damage.

Had it not been for the quick thinking of his colleagues, he most likely would not have survived this horrific accident.Up until now his recovery has been remarkable, and has within the last few weeks regained control of both of his arms. Steve urgently needs specialist physiotherapy to try and get as much mobility back as possible. We'd love any support you could give to help fund Steve's future recovery.

Steve still has his whole life in front of him, and hopefully with your support he can continue to recover.Metropolitan have worked with Steve in many a capacity over the years and have found him to be a fantastic guy with so much to offer.

This being said we have put a team together to complete the London to Amsterdam Bike Ride on the 14th-18th June 2018.We have some experienced riders in our midst but mainly unfit sparks and plumbers!

Team Sheet: Rob Warner, Lester Morgan , Doug Williams, Phil Collier, Dave Bushell , Steffan Chapman, John Badham, Gavin Lingham, Chris Ellis, Russell Davey, Kevin Tucker, Mark Snooks, Lewis Ryan, Graham Halls,Alex Fairlie, Daniel Frost, Paul Draper

We would be tremendously grateful if you could help us raise money to support Steve and his family during these tough times and hopefully see Steve to a full recovery.
